The Al Najjar family has been making authentic Aleppo Soap since 1895. This know-how is passed down from generation to generation in the Al Najjar family’s soap factory in the city of Aleppo in the North of Syria.
This forerunner of Marseille soap is made exclusively from virgin olive oil and bay laurel oil.
Made from traditional 200 g Aleppo soaps, the Najel compressed soap combines the beneficial properties of Aleppo soap with the delicious scent of Amber and Oud.
Its woody odor with oriental overtones comes from there sin of agar, more commonly known as Oud.
Its name comes from the Arabic «al-oud» which means «wood». This softwood, also called the wood of the Gods, is native to Saudi Arabia. It is reputed and esteemed in the world of perfumery for its aromatic qualities.
