About the Author | Viva Hathaway has taught AP Statistics at Norview High School in Norfolk, Virginia, for over 10 years of her 20 plus years teaching high school mathematics. She received both bachelor's and master's degrees in mathematics from Bowling Green State University in Ohio. Viva has served as a reader for the AP Statistics exam and routinely makes presentations on AP Statistics at the annual meeting of the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics. In addition, she teaches statistics as an adjunct professor for Saint Leo University. Viva is also a recipient of the Presidential Award for Excellence in Mathematics and Science for the state of Virginia. Besides teaching statistics and geometry at Norview High School, Viva serves on local and national committees regarding mathematics in secondary education. Vicki Greenberg currently teaches mathematics and AP Statistics at Woodward Academy in College Park, Georgia, and serves as Assistant Director for the school's AP Summer Institutes. She holds a bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a master's degree in Mathematics Education from Georgia State University. Vicki has been teaching mathematics for over 12 years and AP Statistics for over 4 years. She is a reader for the AP Statistics exam and a regular presenter at local and regional AP Summer Institutes. Ed Moulton is a teacher of dual enrollment calculus, AP Calculus support, and Honors Algebra 2 at Norview High School in Norfolk, Virginia. Before coming to Norview High School, he co-taught the AP Statistics Class at Dunbar High School in Baltimore, Maryland. Ed holds a bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Duke University and a master's degree in Arts and Teaching from Johns Hopkins University. |
