Book Description | In a world full of flamingos and unicorns, it can be hard to be a warrior. Mediations and mindfulness might work for the mermaids, but some of us need to prowl on the wild side Take guidance from the mighty wolf, a successful predator who doesn't take no for an answer. Why be cuddly when you can be cutthroat? Why be friendly when you can be fierce |
About the Author | Having been thrown out of a perfectly good grammar school for being caught in possession of an alternative mindset, Lucinda found an outlet for her passion for the written word in the heady days of feminist publishing, working for the Women's Press and Quartet in London. A period of travel in Africa and Asia inspired in her a lifelong interest in wildlife, as well as in shamanic practices. Lucinda returned to England in the Eighties and has been involved with literature ever since; she has penned several volumes of poetry, a stage play and many other pointless musings. After decades of selling, reading and writing books, she now lives a quiet life on the edge of Dartmoor with her family and hyena muse. She is working on acquiring a direwolf in the very near future |
