Known as a semi-savoy type spinach Viroflay F1 has mid green crinkled leaves that are succulent and create a satisfying bite when served raw in salad. The plants are full of vigour and highly resistant to mildew and they are very slow to bolt. The tender young leaves are soft and buttery when cooked.
