And Oregon Public Broadcasting's Think Out Loud program speaking about the week's cultural events and has twice been voted one of America's best writers by the Society for Features Journalism. Originally from Michigan, he now lives in Portland, Oregon. Peter Ames Carlin is a renowned journalist, critic and author having been a senior writer at People magazine and TV critic for The Oregonian.
