About the Author | Author Carolyn Vest was born in Spokane Washington. She has spent most of her adult life in the North West living also in Oregon, California, Idaho, South Carolina and Georgia. Carolyn is the oldest of seven children and the grandmother of ten.She is active in her church, loves to hike, travel and decorate. Retiring in 2007 from a career of sales and marketing, Carolyn now enjoys traveling with her husband, writing and remodeling houses. She is a avid reader and is known by friends and family for her colorful writing. The Andersson Trail is her fourth published book, her first fiction/non fiction. Others include "ARE WE THERE YET, The misadventures of Helga, Heidi and Us which is a true life adventure traveling in an RV, and the many mishaps along the way. The second, ARE WE THERE YET TOO, is filled with over 2000 photos of the trip and poetry written over her life. Her third, JUST OPEN THE DOOR, the author tells her own story of survival in an alcoholic marriage and after 36 years, finally found the courage to move on.
