About the Author | Since she was first bitten by the ski bug aged three, Gabriella Le Breton has skied in over 130 resorts across the globe. Living in Austria and Switzerland as a child nurtured her love of mountains; two years spent living and working in Aspen, Colorado, after university ensured skiing had to remain a significant part of her life. Le Breton has kept up with international ski heroes on the slopes of Europe and North America; jumped out of helicopters to ski remote pockets of Iceland, Canada, and the Alps; skied under the midnight sun in Lapland; and explored mystical forests in Japan. Over the past two decades, she has regularly contributed ski features to the Financial Times, The Daily Telegraph, Conde Nast Traveler, Tatler, and Vanity Fair; authored The Stylish Life, Skiing; and co-written the Footprint Skiing Europe guidebook. When she's not chasing fresh snow, Le Breton lives in a rural village in Kent, England, with her ski-mad husband and toddler Mathilde. |
