Highlights
- 418-AB Uses: Valve covers, intake manifolds, oil pump flanges, transmission pans, thermostat housings and water pumps.
- 418-AB Features: Works up to 700°F / 371°C. Resists oil, water, anti-freeze, and transmission fluid.
- 418-AB Directions: 1. Mating surfaces should be free of dirt, grease and oil. Remove old gasket material. Use care not to scratch softer metals. 2. Remove cap, puncture inner seal, screw on nozzle and cut to desired size. 3. Apply uniform, unbroken 1.5-3 mm bead around the perimeter of one surface only. Complete surround all bolt holes. Replace cap after use. 4. Assemble parts immediately parts immediately. Tighten all retaining bolts to manufacturer’s specified torque. Remove any excess gasket maker with a dry towel. Larger than V8 engines may require more than one tube.
