OverviewWEICON Contact VM 120 Cyanoacrylate Adhesive. PROPERTIES: The cyanoacrylate adhesive for metals is very economical, medium viscosity and cures very Fastly. One drop is sufficient for approx. 3 to 5 cm² of adhesive surface. APPLICATION: WEICON Contact VM 120 is suitable for metal bonding of all kinds, especially in assembly line production for bonding perfectly fitting parts. Contact VM 120 can be used in the metal-processing industry, in mechanical engineering, in housing and apparatus construction, and in many other areas. PROCESSING: Clean & dry the surfaces to be bonded. Smooth surfaces should be mechanically roughened. Only apply the adhesive to one of the surfaces to be bonded with a layer thickness of min. 0.05mm & max. 0.2mm, otherwise curing cannot be guaranteed. The parts to be bonded should be bonded at a relative humidity of 40% to 80%. STORAGE: WEICON Contact Cyanoacrylate Adhesives have a shelf life of at least 9 months when stored unopened at room temperature and in a dry & preferably dark place, whereas the shelf life can be extended to 12 months at temperatures around +5°C. SAFETY: When processing WEICON products, the physical, safety, toxicological & ecological data and regulations of the EC Safety Data Sheets must be observed. TECHNICAL DATA: Ester type: Methyl. Composition: colourless, clear liquid. Final strength after: 24 hours. Temperature resistance: -50 to +120 short term to +100 | softening temp. +170°C
