OverviewWEICON Repair Stick Plastic APPLICATION: WEICON Repair Stick Plastic is especially suitable for permanent, residual-elastic repairs of plastic parts and fibre composites, such as window and door frames, claddings and bumpers. For bonding metal parts such as pipes and pipe bends, fittings and flanges, water tanks, pumps and housings. WEICON Repair Stick Kunststoff can be used in window construction, in container and apparatus construction, in the food, cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries and in many other areas. PROPERTIES: The pasty epoxy resin (plastic filled) has a temperature resistance from -50°C to +120°C (short: up to +150°C) and a processing temperature from +10°C to +40°C. The curing temperature varies between +6°C and +40°C with a pot life of 20 minutes (at 25g. preparation quantity and +20°C). The adhesive achieves its manual strength (35%) after 40 minutes, mechanical strength (50%) after 180 minutes and final hardness (100% strength) after 36 hours. The pressure load corresponds to 65N|mm² with a gap overhang of up to max. 15mm. The shrinkage is linear and is less than 1%. SURFACE PRE-TREATMENT: Clean and dry surfaces (cleaning and degreasing with WEICON Surface Cleaner) are a prerequisite for perfect adhesion. STORAGE: WEICON Repair Sticks can be stored for at least 18 months in unopened condition at a constant room temperature of approx. +20°C and dry storage. Avoid exposure to sunlight.
