The set includes a tray and a safe wooden knife. The knife can be used to cut through the pieces of fruit which are held together with pieces of Velcro. Children can then reassemble the fruit pieces and continue to cut and serve. The set is sized to be age appropriate for toddlers and preschooler: the cutting board measures 7.5 x 5.3 x 1.2 inches. Combine with PlanToys kitchen appliance pretend play sets and other toy foods. This food set is made from recycled rubber wood trees which have been converted into PlanWood. The process to make PlanWood is eco friendly and starts with the use of wood remnants. High pressure and formaldehyde-free glues are used to create a High Density composite wood which can be shaped like plastic but is sustainably manufactured. All PlanToys products are made from rubber wood trees which no longer produce latex. The rubberwood used is free of chemicals and is kiln dried to assure it remains chemical free. Our toys are assembled using a certified E-Zero formaldehyde free glue. Organic pigments and water-based dyes are then used to add color.
