Tak Si-Geun founded Dongyang Light Metal Industries (now DORCO) in the newly fomed South Korea.

1961

We created Korea's first ever safety razor - an important stepping stone in our journey as pioneers in shaving technology.

1977

We developedour first twin-bladed razor through collaboration with Wilkinson-a light, highly functional and reusable system.

1984

Our commitment to innovation continued throughout the 1980's. By 1984, we'd introduced a women's rage, a double-edge razor and a twin-blade razor with a pivoting head.

1995

With our reputation for quality reaching far beyond Asia, we opened a office in the US, and factories in Mexico and China.

2001

We launched the Win 3 razor - another first of its kind, with three blades, the latestshave-enhancing technology and a new ergonomic design.

2007

The world's first six-blade razor, our Pace 6, hit the market.

2014

We introduced the Pace 7, the world'blade razor, now known as the DORCO Classic.
